• You or a traveling companion loses their job and they’ve been with their employer for at least one year
• Weather prevents you from leaving home and reaching your destination
• A family member back home passes away and you must return from your vacation early
• Your luggage or sports equipment is lost or delayed by the airline
• You twist your ankle and must visit a physician while traveling

Lodging Protection Plan (Product Number 008468)
(Rugged River Resort automatically provides this protection plan for each of our reservations at no cost to you!)
Ideal for: Smaller trips, budget vacations, and people who are looking for basic travel insurance coverage.
Cost: $15
Waiver of Pre-Existing Medical Conditions: To qualify for the waiver of pre-existing medical conditions, you must purchase your policy the same day you pay your reservation deposit.
(Niemeyer's Rugged River Resort will purchase the Lodging protection plan for you on the day we receive your deposit. You don't have to do anything unless you would liketo purchase a more comprehensive policy. If so, see the All Seasons Travel Plan.)
All Seasons Travel Plan (Product Number 008574)
Ideal for: Large family vacations, expensive trips, and people who are looking for more comprehensive insurance coverage. This plan not only provides coverage for things like trip cancellation and emergency medical expenses, it also provides coverage for lost/stolen/damaged sportsman equipment or personal effects.
Cost: 7% of your Total Booking Cost
Waiver of Pre-Existing Medical Conditions: To qualify for the waiver of pre-existing medical conditions, you must purchase your policy within 21 days of paying your reservation deposit.

Travel Guard is committed to providing products and services that will exceed expectations. If you are not completely satisfied, you can receive a refund of the plan cost from Travel Guard. Requests must be submitted to Travel Guard in writing within 10 days of the effective date of the coverage, provided it is not past the original check-in date.
