Houseboats – Float Your Vacation on the Mississippi
Discover a unique way to enjoy the Brainerd Lakes with a houseboat vacation! Our two houseboats let you experience Central Minnesota from the water, whether for a day trip or an overnight stay.

Rental Options

• Daily Rental: 6-hour trips, $450–$750, you can request a captain to “MAN the boat”.

• Overnight Rental: 2 days to a week—perfect for family vacations, fishing excursions, or time with friends. Spend your days cruising the slow-moving Mississippi River, exploring up to 10 miles of its beautiful scenery. Not comfortable driving a big boat? We can navigate for you, anchoring at scenic spots for maximum enjoyment.

Miss Guided – Sleeps 6–8

• Cozy below-deck sleeping area with 4 twin memory foam mattresses (bring your own bedding).

• Main cabin includes 2 sitting areas that convert to small beds, a large kitchen prep area, small fridge, stove & oven (no microwave), gas grill, and a bathroom.

• Spacious upper deck for outdoor dining, sightseeing, and relaxing. (Note: The sun canopy on the top deck was damaged in a storm and is not currently available.)

• Freshwater holding tank supplies sinks, shower, and toilet.

Miss Adventure – Sleeps 4–5

• Perfect for smaller groups, with all living on the main deck.

• Features a small kitchen with 3-burner stove (no oven/microwave), small fridge, dining area, full bed, and twin bunks.

• Top deck for sunbathing, relaxing, or sliding into the river!

Tips & Expectations

• Our houseboats are meant for relaxing on the river, not for modern electronics. Water is limited, there’s no TV, A/C, or heat, and outlets are few. Think of it as a chance to unplug, enjoy each other, and soak in the sights and sounds of the Mississippi. Run the generator when needed, cool off in the river, and make some lasting memories!

• Pet Policy: No pets are allowed on the houseboats.

Extras & Flexibility
Some guests mix their stay—floating part of the day and docking at night to enjoy the pool, hot tub, and shore power. A generator is available for power on the water. Gas is billed separately.
