Welcome to Niemeyer’s Rugged River Resort
Since 1935, guests have arrived at Niemeyer’s ready to fish, relax, and unwind in the great outdoors. The excitement of a family vacation is still alive today—guests unpack, leave their cares behind, and settle into the beautiful setting of our 100+acre wooded resort.

At the heart of the resort are six charming cabins. Niemeyer’s has preserved its nostalgic small resort feel, allowing guests to enjoy privacy or wander the serene grounds, all while still offering modern-day amenities.

Cabins:

Each cabin has its’ own private fire pit, a few outdoor chairs and a charcoal grill. The bedrooms are furnished with bed linens and pillows. The kitchens have a stove/oven, refrigerator, dishes, silverware, pots & pans, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, blender, crock pot and griddle. We also provide recycling container, garbage bags, potholders, a dishcloth and dishtowel, dish soap, an all-purpose cleaner and coffee filters. The bathrooms all have a shower, and we supply toilet paper and hand soap.

Cabin #’s 1, 2, 4 & 5 and the bungalow have dishwashers.

All Cabins have free Wi-Fi access – we are in the country, so we do not have access to the speeds & connectivity you have in the city.

Pet-Friendly Stays

A small daily fee applies for each pet’s stay, and don’t forget to check out your pet’s goodie bag in the cabin.
