Pet-Friendly Stays at Niemeyer’s Rugged River Resort

We know pets are an important part of the family, and we’re happy to welcome them to Niemeyer’s! To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone—both pet lovers and guests who prefer a pet-free environment—we ask that all pet owners follow a few simple rules:

• Leash Your Pet: Keep pets on a leash while on resort grounds. Pets should never be allowed to run loose or unsupervised.

• Clean Up: Please clean up after your pet. Your pet kit includes a few bags for your convenience.

• Furniture & Beds: Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. A fabric pad is provided to help protect surfaces when pets rub against them.

• Kennels: When your pet cannot be supervised, please use a portable kennel. Don’t have one? We have kennels available—call ahead to reserve and check availability.

• Barking & Behavior: Excessive barking or disruptive behavior is not allowed. Even the best-behaved pets can act differently in a new environment, so keep an eye on your furry friend and monitor how they’re doing.

Pet Fees:

• Cabins: $25/night per pet

• RV/Camping: $2/night per pet

By following these simple guidelines, everyone can enjoy a safe, fun, and relaxing stay. If the rules cannot be followed, you may be asked to make alternate arrangements for your pet. There are several kennels nearby if needed.
